Welcome to Visitors of FIFA World Cup 2026™ Vancouver

xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation) welcome the world to our shared territories during FIFA World Cup 2026™ Vancouver in this uplifting welcome video produced by Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC).

Tsleil-Waututh Members Chief Justin George, Robert George, Robbie George, Jasmin Thomas, Mabel Humchitt, soccer parents, coaches, and youth players took part in the creation of this video, which was shot in the community to show our love of the beautiful game.

We also filmed a short welcome video featuring Chief Justin George and youth Jasmin Thomas.

The MST welcome video will be prominently shared throughout FIFA World Cup 2026™ Vancouver, including before each FIFA match in BC Place and at our Tsleil-Waututh Nation FIFA Fan Festival activation site at Hastings Park.

We wish to acknowledge Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC) for partnering with Tsleil-Waututh Nation on bringing these videos to life.
